This year our Spring Soul Care | Skill Share retreat will be a bit different. You can still expect excellent care and a thoughtful and nourishing time of professional development, but we’ll be using some different delivery systems and give you a few choices for ways to engage with the event.
On Friday night, the retreat will be virtual from 7:00-9:30 PM EST. During this time, Megan will facilitate a time of experiential learning around 5 evidence-based well-being interventions that you can incorporate into your work with your clients and participants will bring resources to share that have increased their fulfillment or flourishing.
On Saturday, we will begin Day 2 of our retreat at Reins & Rainbows Equine Learning Center starting at 8:30 AM EST. Plans for the day include grounding activities, reflective practices, psychoeducation on triggers and how they work in the brain and body, embodiment focused equine-assisted coaching, and practical how-tos on developing a professional partnership with an equine facility.
You can call it a continuing education onsite or call it a retreat. It’s a Lark’s Song event just for our coaches and it happens twice a year. And this time, you can come to the evening of Day 1, Day 2, or the whole experience. We are reducing the cost for the full retreat to $150. (Day 1 ONLY costs $25 and Day 2 ONLY costs $125).
Included in your retreat costs is a small soul care kit co-created by Megan Gilmore and Jami Taylor to help prepare and care for yourself throughout our time together. Lunch and supplies will be provided on Saturday. And (as always) we’ll have a couple surprises for you along the way.
