CULTURE CARE At Lark’s Song
We believe that Lark’s Song is uniquely positioned at the intersection of our common human identity and an industry growing in recognition for its creativity, innovation, and pathways toward flourishing. With our headquarters planted in the heart of Marion, Indiana, we are committed to partnering with the assets, life, and realities of our local community as we also generate forward movement in the global research and practice of well-being.
Because our domains of influence and presence span across various physical and virtual environments, we believe it is essential for us to deliberately posture ourselves as stewards and partners of these cultures, aimed in each domain toward a greater experience of fulfillment and flourishing.
For Lark’s Song, our Culture Care efforts extend into the following domains:
The Lark’s Song Family
The Lark’s Song community includes our board, staff, individuals who have completed the Lark’s Song Certified Coach (LSCC) training programs, and those actively involved in our training and educational programming.
The Culture Care team seeks to steward and nurture the internal Lark’s Song community through providing platforms for all community members’ voices to be heard, generating virtual and physical opportunities for the community from the abundance of its members, and generously sharing resources and opportunities with and for the members of the Lark’s Song community.
Our Local Community
We believe that place has huge significance on our holistic well-being. We are incredibly grateful to inhabit the downtown Marion community, and see our presence here as an opportunity to both make visible the already-present strength and beauty of Marion, as well as to call forth a greater accountability for a holistic, equitable, creative, & flourishing culture from those of us who inhabit this community.
As an organization committed to active participation in inclusive place-making, we partner with local organizations, businesses, and individuals to move this work forward. As part of our Culture Care efforts in our local community, we regularly make efforts to share our space and resources with those who are also contributing to a generative cultural environment, such as artists, entrepreneurs, community leaders, and neighbors.
Global Connections
As a result of our work and research into well-being, we have had the opportunity to engage creatively with communities and organizations around the world that share a combined vision for human flourishing.
