Multi-Cultural Curly Coaching Workshop

This workshop is intentionally designed for parents and caretakers of wavy, curly, coily, and textured kids who need assistance on how to care for, style, maintain and grow the health of their locks. 

In this 3 hour specialized care workshop, attendees will gain understanding around: 

  • History of curly hair & its unique qualities

  • Terminology to use + not use

  • Daytime + nighttime care

  • Proper wash techniques

  • Demonstration of 4 hairstyles on a mannequin

  • Protective style maintenance  

  • Product discussion + recommendations 

  • Chance to win a goodie bag packed with specialized haircare and supplies

  • Q&A time + much more 

At this time, Multi-Cultural Curly Coaching is structured for adult-learning only.

Brittany Ussery

is an Indiana native, Lark’s Song Certified Coach, specializing in wardrobe and expression coaching, and a 13+ year hairstylist who has a passion for helping others understand how to truly love, maintain and care for their natural hair. After practicing in Houston, TX for 4 years, she decided it was time to return to Indiana to share her knowledge with her community, friends and family. 

“I could talk about curly, coily, textured hair for hours! My goal is to empower, educate and instill confidence in not only the parents / caretakers but also the children.”

Cost

This workshop is a pay-what-you-can, come-as-you-are workshop with a requested donation of $50 per participant. Please pay an amount that honors your budget, as well as the value of this learning experience.
